Lingenfelter Chevrolet Reaper: Chevy’s Answer to the Raptor
If you’re a Chevrolet guy and like the idea of a high-performance, off-road pickup truck, you can’t like the Ford F-150 Raptor, but you can like the new Lingenfelter Chevrolet Reaper. Yeah, that Lingenfelter… the guys who make Corvettes and Vipers with like a trillion horses. The 2014 Chevrolet Reaper is actually a buddy project between Lingenfelter and Southern Comfort Automotive. Take one 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, add in one bad-ass conversion kit, and, presto, you have a Chevy Reaper.
The 2014 Chevrolet Reaper gets a new front fascia, heavier-duty skid plates and bumpers, 33-inch off-road tires on 20-inch wheels (or on optional 17-inch bead-locker wheels), LED lighting, a Fox racing suspension, Corsa high-performance exhaust and some interior tweaks like a fancy gauge pack. This is after all a Lingenfelter vehicle, so that means the Chevrolet Reaper can come with a superchager and Lingenfelter’s famous engine tuning.
If you want a 2014 Lingenfelter Chevrolet Reaper, the conversion kits will be available through select Chevrolet dealerships. For now, we don’t have any power or performance figures on the Reaper, but what we do have is a dedicated website for the über truck. Check it out here. Stay tuned for more info.
